Silvia Mondini

Attorney Silvia Mondini provides consultancy in the field of intellectual property with particular attention to all issues related to New Media, having acquired over the years specific expertise in relation to the Internet, television and most recently platforms for the provision of content. In this context, she deals in a specialist manner with contracts related to the production and acquisition of content, issues relating to the management of sites and platforms including Privacy issues, as well as the management of relationships with collecting societies. She deals in general with copyright law with particular reference to the sectors of music and audiovisual, design and trademarks. Within her area of specialization, she provides assistance in acquisition, sale or corporate restructuring operations with a particular focus on companies in the sectors of new technologies, music publishing, entertainment and fashion.

She also has extensive experience in the fields of commercial and corporate law and assists clients in negotiations and contracts, particularly in relation to licensing, distribution, franchising and agency relationships.

In her professional activity, Attorney Silvia Mondini assists both multinational and Italian companies, including some small and medium-sized start-ups in various sectors related to technological innovation, media, fashion and design.

She graduated in 1995 from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano with a grade of 110 cum laude.

She has been admitted to the bar since 1998.

In 1996 she attended a course at the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, organized by the Southwestern Legal Foundation (June-July 1996).

In 1999 she attended The Hague Academy of Private International Law in The Hague.

She also completed an internship at the Legal Affairs Department of Warner Bros. Inc. in Burbank, where she mainly dealt with international issues relating to copyright protection, as well as studying aspects of American law relevant to the protection of cinematographic works in Italy.
