Artificial intelligence in civil justice

Technological developments are revolutionising the legal sector, offering new opportunity but also new ones challenges to deal with. In the past years the Higher School of the Judiciary has already taken care of tackling the first challenges within the training of the magistrate. Artificial intelligence has been the subject of numerous in-depth studies also at the level of decentralized training.

The two main ones novelty, namely the recent provisional agreement between the European Parliament and the Council of Europe on the text of the next European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence and the establishment of the public merit database at national level, highlight the need for further debate on the issue.

To this end, Thursday March 14th, at the Aula Magna Emilio Alessandrini – Guido Galli (Palazzo di Giustizia in Milan), a meeting will be held with numerous experts in the sector, including our partner Paolo Flavio Mondini. It will be a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge on an extremely topical issue and understand the future prospects of this constantly evolving tool. The contribution of the Academy, in particular of the University of Milan and the Observatory on Civil Justice, Gruppo Europa, in the realization of the course is highlighted.
