Snam, through its subsidiary Snam4Environment, has acquired 100% of the share capital of IES Biogas, a leader in the construction of biogas and biomethane plants, of which it already held 70% of the shares.
Snam and its legal team, made up of lawyers Umberto Baldi, Lorenzo Marcelli Flori and Valentina Milazzo, were assisted in the corporate and antitrust aspects by Mondini Bonora Ginevra, with a team made up of partner Paolo Flavio Mondini and associate Manuel Portale; the selling party was assisted by the Grava & Associati law firm, with the partner Antonio Grava and the associate Priscilla Bortolin.
The acquisition from Snam to strengthen the strategic positioning of IES Biogas in accordance with the Group’s objectives and the development prospects of agricultural biomethane, one of the key vectors for decarbonisation.
