{"id":9835,"date":"2026-05-07T08:29:22","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T08:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbg.legal\/?p=9835"},"modified":"2026-05-07T08:29:23","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T08:29:23","slug":"the-unified-patent-court-milan-section-has-ruled-on-european-patent-ep-2-363-263","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbg.legal\/en\/the-unified-patent-court-milan-section-has-ruled-on-european-patent-ep-2-363-263\/","title":{"rendered":"The Unified Patent Court (Milan section) has ruled on European patent EP 2 363 263"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the dispute between the patent holder Agathon, the Italian manufacturer Intercom and the German distributor Knarr, the Unified Patent Court (Milan section) has ruled on the European patent <strong>EP 2 363 263<\/strong>, relating to <strong>centering devices for forming tools in the mold making and die casting industry<\/strong>, declaring <strong>the patent is null and void<\/strong> in the form originally granted and maintaining it in force only in a limited form, as well as rejecting in its entirety the infringement claim brought against the defendant companies (*).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This result confirms the importance of a rigorous approach, both technically and legally, in litigation before the UPC, where patent validity and infringement require careful consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are proud to have assisted our client in this matter.
