The company Lamezia Sviluppo, owned by the Caruso family, yesterday completed the deed of sale of the majority shareholding in the Calabrian airport company (Sacal Spa), which allows the transfer of control from the private shareholder to Fin-calabra Spa, an in-house company of the Calabria Region, authorized to do so by Regional Law no. 43 of 28 December 2021.<\/p>\n

Sacal, founded in 1990, is the airport company that \u2013 by virtue of the ministerial concessions of 2007 and 2017 \u2013 manages the airports of Lamezia Terme, Crotone and Reggio Calabria and, after the difficult year of 2020, has recorded important signs of recovery in 2021 with turnover and passenger traffic data in strong growth.<\/p>\n
