Giorgio Mondini

Attorney Giorgio Mondini has gained extensive experience and recognition in the field of Intellectual Property throughout his professional career, with particular regard to Copyright and Media Law, Trademark, Design and Competition Law. He has assisted several major Italian and foreign companies operarting in Italy in the fields of media and new technologies, as well as in the publishing, music, broadcasting industries, and related sectors, both in commercial transactions and litigation. He has also acted as a consultant for trade associations in these sectors. He regularly represents clients before Italian courts of all levels, including the Court of Cassation and the European Court of Justice, especially in matters of copyright and intellectual property, and has participated in several arbitrations, both as a lawyer and as an arbitrator.

Attorney Mondini is often invited to speak at international conferences on intellectual property and media issues and is the author of several publications.

He graduated in 1965 from the Università degli Studi di Milano with 110 cum laude and has been admitted to the bar since 1968.

He was a Fulbright Scholar and attended the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas.

He teaches in a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Law for legal professionals.

He is President of the Italian Copyright Group of AIPPI and is a member of ALAI and other professional associations.

In 2021 he was ranked by Chambers Europe in the “Senior Statespeople” category for Intellectual Property and Copyright and by Legal 500 in the “hall of fame” of professionals for Intellectual Property.

He speaks fluent English and French.
