Mondini Bonora Ginevra Law Firm is pleased to announce that on Monday 6 February 2023 the meeting organized by the same on the topic of Benefit Society.
The Benefit Company is a capital company which, while maintaining its profit-making purpose in all respects, also adds to this purpose the achievement of objectives of common benefit.
This legal form, recently introduced by art. 1 paragraphs 376 to 384 of Law no. 208 of 28 December 2015 (so-called 2016 Stability Law), is taking on particular interest in the current market context, as, by its nature, it lends itself to pursuing objectives of sustainability environmental and social.
The meeting was chaired by the partner of the firm Avv. Claudio Bonora.
The Honourable Member spoke as speakers Mauro Del Barba who, in addition to being a Member of the Italian Republic, is President of Assobenefit and first signatory of the Bill Establishing Benefit Companies in Italy and a partner of the Law Firm Avv. Daniele Giombini.
The first one provided an overview of the Benefit Society and the opportunity which it offers in general, while the second one has gone into the details of the Legal aspects connected to this corporate form and the implications of this choice on the governance and structure of the company.
The meeting was a great success with the participants.
The large audience of company representatives and professionals present participated with interest in the debate and actively in the subsequent discussion.
